Frequently Asked Questions
Yoga classes in Cobram: bookings, experience, and what to expect
Do I need prior yoga experience?
No experience is needed. Practices are guided with options and clear cues, allowing you to move in a way that feels supportive for your body. You’re welcome whether this is your first yoga class or you’re returning after time away.
Are the classes gentle or physically challenging?
Classes are guided as breath-led movement grounded in vinyasa tradition and shaped with intention and care. Some practices include moments of warmth, strength and gentle challenge, while others create more space for slowing down and integration. Each class is responsive to the energy in the room.
What if I’m feeling anxious, overwhelmed or low in energy?
You’re welcome exactly as you are. Yoga + Movement is designed to support steadiness, regulation and ease, particularly during periods of stress or fatigue. Rest and modifications are always available.
What should I bring to a yoga class?
A yoga mat and water are all you need. You’re welcome to bring layers or anything else that helps you feel comfortable during practice.
Is this suitable for all bodies and stages of life?
Yes. Practices are inclusive and adaptable, with guidance offered to support a wide range of bodies, abilities and life stages.
Will there be breathwork or meditation?
Gentle breath awareness, moments of stillness and rest are woven into each practice to support presence and integration.
What if I need to rest during class?
Rest is always welcome. Pausing, observing or simply breathing is considered part of the practice.
How will I feel after a class?
Yoga has many health benefits. Many people leave feeling calmer, more present and gently restored, with a sense of having had space to settle and exhale.
