A calmer, more intentional approach to yoga and wellbeing
About Asana & Alchemy
This is a space to slow down, where movement becomes a form of listening and care is offered with intention, presence and respect for the body’s innate wisdom.
My work is grounded in the belief that wellbeing unfolds when the body feels safe, supported and able to move at its own pace.
Practice here is guided with clarity and care, designed to meet you where you are and support a deeper sense of steadiness, awareness and ease.
Welcome, I’m Steph.
Yoga teacher, dermal clinician and wellness guide.
My background is in health science and clinical aesthetics, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based skin health and internal wellbeing. Early on, it became clear to me that caring for the body could never be just about surface-level results. The skin, nervous system, emotions and inner rhythm are deeply connected—and real transformation happens when all of these layers are held together.
My own experiences with anxiety, burnout and nervous system dysregulation shaped this understanding in a very personal way. They deepened my compassion and guided me toward practices that prioritise safety, presence and regulation. Yoga became a pivotal part of that journey—not as something to achieve, but as a way back to the body—a way to breathe, listen and rebuild trust from the inside out.
Living between a country town and regular commutes to Melbourne, particularly as a mother, clarified what mattered most to me. I wanted to create something that felt aligned with my energy, my values and the pace of life I was craving, guided by integrity, presence and care for both my clients and myself.
Asana & Alchemy grew from this place. It is a space for slow, intentional movement, seasonal rhythm and embodied care. A space where people are invited to move with awareness, rest when needed and reconnect with themselves in a way that feels supportive and sustainable.
At the heart of my work is a commitment to creating spaces where people feel safe in their bodies, supported in their healing and met with care that is both effective and deeply human. Through mindful movement, evidence-based practice and simple ritual, I offer experiences that support steadiness, presence and lasting change.
This work is more than a profession; it’s a way of honouring the rhythm of care we all need.

The Asana + Alchemy approach
My approach is calm and intentional, guided by the belief that care works best when it feels supportive and considered.
Through deep listening, nervous-system awareness and simple ritual, I create experiences that help the body soften and the mind settle. Everything I offer is designed to support a sense of safety and ease, allowing space for your body, mind and nervous system to restore.
This philosophy recognises the body as a place of wisdom and honours care that feels deeply human.
